We understand that you might be having a lot of questions, here’re a few with answers.
Indians are honest and hard-working people. But obviously not everyone is honest, so you would trust the jobseekers just like you would with a local candidate. At first, have them do non-sensitive tasks until you build a relationship of trust, and then later you can give them more access.
To help you trust them better, every candidate on Talent Acquira goes through a 3-step vetting process, where we verify their identity, English language skills and the infrastructure they have. Our goal is to deter as many scammers as possible, so only the right candidates are available to you.
After you hire someone you’ll probably start noticing little things that let you know you can trust them or not.
No, you don’t. Our pricing is a simple, one-time “per job post” model. You only pay when you post a new job listing, and the list expires in 30-days.
If you can’t find a suitable candidate within 30 days of your job posting, we’ll refund your entire amount you paid.
Alternatively, you can use our concierge service to get hire find your perfect candidate for you.
This depends on what you negotiate with them before you hire them. Pay will vary based on skill set and experience. Every position entails a different salary range.
We suggest you look at a bunch of profiles which have the skills you’re looking for. See how much they’re asking for. That will give you a pretty good idea of how much you should pay.
OR look at the price ranges on this page to get a rough idea.
You can use PayPal, many Indians have a PayPal account, or you can use Western Union or direct bank transfer.
Whichever is convenient to you. We recommend PayPal.
We always recommend paying salaried. Indians love income stability and we find most employers business success rate increases faster with salaried instead of hourly. We find paying hourly is the equivalent of being a manager and paying a salary is the equivalent of being the CEO.
However, you can do whatever you want. Just be sure to work it out with the worker before you hire them.
Either way, don’t try to cheat them. Pay a fair wage.
No, all workers on our platform are individual jobseekers that register their own accounts.
Talent Acquira is an open resume and job platform. You are communicating, interviewing, hiring and paying the jobseekers directly.
We just provide the means of you two coming together.
No you don’t. The candidates you hire technically are your contractors. And you don’t pay taxes or benefits to contractors.
You hire them and they do the work for you. Because of the USA-India taxation treaty, you don’t have to deduct any tax at source (TDS).
– We don’t take a cut of your new hires’ salaries.
– We don’t mark up the salaries.
– We don’t get in between your communication with your new hires.
– We don’t force you to pay your new hires through us.
– Upwork encourages short-term, temporary work. We encourage long-term permanent work. Businesses tend to succeed better without 100% turnover.
Yes, we can.
We offer a concierge recruiting service, where we re-write your job title and description, proactively contact suitable candidates, conduct tests (optional), and send you the top 3 shortlisting candidates.
You can then check the results, interview them and hire them with confidence.
Most of them work from their homes, but few might find coworking spaces or cafes better.
You don’t have to pay for their infrastructure (computer and Internet), or for their work space.
Different employers do different things. We don’t recommend time tracking. We find it’s big-brother like. Indians think the same thing. But other employers swear by time tracking.
Whether you use time tracking or not, you’ll probably know if someone is being productive or not just based on their output.
We never recommend paying someone based off their tracked hours. It doesn’t mix well with the Indian culture, it’s not very fair for the candidates, and you’re likely to be disappointed with their work. We’ve seen this a lot.
